Hi, don't be surprised that this mini-review is mostly about the packaging because I'm kinda in love with it, haha. Here's the front with one of my bottlecaps for scale. ^^
I had zero luck trying to find these in store ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ if you're in the US you might be able to find these at your local Target, I believe they've started marking these clearance too. Otherwise you'll have to do what I did and get it on Amazon, expect to pay around $15. You can also get it bundled with the Vault Boy Incense Burner for $25 on Geek Store US.
Dimensions: 6 1/2"L x 1 5/8"W x 4 1/2"H (measurements are approximate), with window packaging on the front and modeled after the Pip-Boy 2000 Mk VI from Fallout 76. The packaging itself is a pretty sturdy cardboard, I was kinda worried it would get smushed in transit as some heavier items were shipped with it, but it arrived in great condition! I should also note that it does come shrink wrapped if you're worried about the packaging scuffing and whatnot.
Here's what it looks like opened up! I didn't think to take more photos of the pins themselves as I'm keeping this in the box as it looks neat as is. ^^; I can confirm that these do in fact glow in the dark, and yes THEY ARE TINY ENAMEL PINS!! xD The tallest one is 1 3/8" but the rest are 7/8" or 1" tall. I still think it's a great value considering the number of pins you're getting in this set, and compared to how much a single enamel pin normally costs whether it's official or fanmade. Note: I think the backing holding the pins is glued into the box, it didn't seem to remove easily when I tried to pry it off, let me know if any of y'all have had luck safely removing it without damaging the box!!
Do you plan on picking this up for yourself, or as a gift for the Fallout fanatic in your life? Let me know! I think it would make a great gift idea and it looks really cool left in the box or you could always use the box to display other goodies as well. :) And honestly, I don't think I'll ever get tired of enamel pins, I could always use more haha!
Thanks for reading and I hope y'all found it helpful and informative, please 'heart' this post, leave a comment, and share it because it would help me a lot and motivate me to do even more reviews for y'all!
