BERNIE FROM FIRE EMBLEM: THREE HOUSES

Construction Notes: I used Indigo Jinjo's Garreg Mach Uniform pattern as a base for the blazer which took A LOT of the guesswork out of it, the hoodie is just the hood part and is sewn between the blazer and lining shell layers. I kinda winged it for the skirt, originally I wanted to do pleats but it looked weird so I just gathered it using a 2:1 ratio. I used metallic gold acrylic paint mixed with textile medium to do all of the gold pieces, yes even the heraldry which is cut out of fabric and applied using Heat'n Bond. Hardware kit is from Dangerous Ladies, while the boots, BEARnadetta, and base wig are from Amazon.

Personal Thoughts: Oh uhh, well... I find Bernie very relatable for personal reasons. 😅 I also decided it would be a great idea to start on this costume like, a week before the con. lmao I wanted to challenge myself I guess, and oh boy it was definitely a challenge but I'm still super happy with how it turned out! Anime LA that year was definitely FE:3H con, so it was pretty amazing to be a part of it and I have her time skip outfit planned for the future!
